Dear AVACOIN Users, We recently encountered an unexpectedly troubling issue with the Telegram platform, specifically with the Telegram-integrated @wallet service. While we wholeheartedly support Telegram, TON, and the initiatives spearheaded by the platform, we have also launched a gaming bot that attracted nearly 3 million people within Telegram. We hold profound respect for founder Pavel Durov @pavel—whose recent interview affirmed his commitment to a boundary-free environment for all users. However, we find ourselves perplexed by the recent actions taken against our @wallet. Regrettably, it appears that Russian-speaking users may find themselves unfairly targeted. Upon setting up a wallet to receive donations, it was almost immediately blocked. Worse still, after completing the KYC process with a Russian passport, a member of our team found their wallet permanently banned with no possibility of future use. The Wallet team @wallet on Telegram has not provided any clarification on why this drastic measure was implemented. Is there truly no place for Russian users in the Wallet service on Telegram? We urge caution when using the Wallet, particularly for Russian citizens, as it seems almost certain that post-KYC, your wallet could face blockage. This brings us to a direct appeal to Pavel Durov @durov: Did you not position Telegram as a bastion of freedom in your recent interview? Why then do some users face such significant obstacles here, just as they might elsewhere?
